This Privacy Policy outlines the policies and procedures followed by Agan Health (herein referred to as “Agan Health”, “organisation”, “we”, “us”, and “our”) for collecting, using and disclosing our website users’ (herein referred to as “Users”, “You” and “Your”) personal information.  We promise to respect the privacy and confidentiality you entrusted us with and keep your identity anonymous and the information regarding your health secure. Agan Health is a mental wellness centre in Trichy providing mental wellness services to all individuals, regardless of their age group, gender or location. Our nature of services includes:

• Assessments and psychological tests to determine your mental health state.
• Assessments and psychological tests to track your progress.
• Content and programs delivered through multiple channels.
• Participation in the user forums like replies, feedback, content, blogs etc.
Note: Agan Health reserves the right to add or remove Services from our offerings without prior notification.

Consent 

By interacting with our website, using the services provided and providing your personal information or making a payment, you are providing us with your consent to collect, store and process your personal information in adherence to our policies and the laws in India. By this, you acknowledge that you have provided us with your personal information according to your free will. However, you may also withdraw your consent at any point. Updating Personal Information

If you want us to remove your records from our system, you can reach us at  (mail/ support team id). After receiving your request, we will oblige and attempt to accommodate your request if there are no other legal obligations behind them.

Important: Please note that there is certain information that we have to retain according to the professional standards of the law. So, we will have to store this information for a particular pre-specified period. Apart from these, there may also be other residual information stored in our database, which we may not be able to remove or delete.

Agan Health maintains complete confidentiality of the information disclosed during a personal consultation. Since we aim to provide only the best services, we may conduct regular supervision wherein all the cases are discussed.

If there is a threat to the well-being of the clients, or someone else, then the therapists or the counsellors are obligated to share the information with concerned authorities and others. The concerned authorities may include the clinical supervisor and law enforcement authorities. Others may include emergency contacts and people deemed fit – like family and friends.

In case the therapist receives knowledge of any criminal activity, which may include the present or past abuse of minors, senior citizens or disabled people, they are required to share the information with the law enforcement authorities at the earliest and comply with all the legal requirements. If there is a situation where you are required to seek consultation from another medical professional, then your consent will be required to share relevant information.

Apart from the aforeasons listed above, we will only share your information if you have granted permission orally or by email/ letter. 

Third Party Disclosure

Agan Health does not sell or trade your Personal Information to third parties unless notifying you in advance. However, this doesn't apply to any other server, website hosting partners or other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business and providing you with the services. 

We may release your information when we have to comply with the law, enforce our site policies and protect others' safety, rights, and property. In case for marketing, advertising and other uses, we may provide visitor information that is not personally identifiable.

Security

Agan Health has adopted several measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorised access. When we collect, access, use or disclose any personal information, we use systems consistent with the industry standards in information privacy and security. We also ensure that no calls and personal sessions are recorded, but only maintain the records that comply with professional standards.

We strictly forbid you from posting your information in forums, comments or any other platforms easily accessible by the public. We will not be responsible if there is a use or misuse of any information about or shared by the user or any issue related to data storage and security.

The responsibility for your privacy and security also lies with you. You must ensure that no one else can access your phone or messages. We will use either one or both of these channels to communicate with you regarding the information related to your sessions. Agan Health will not be responsible for any breach of confidentiality if a third party access your emails and texts with or without your consent.

Our website may contain links to other sites that may not necessarily be under the control of Agan Health. We will not be responsible for the privacy practice of such authorities and encourage you to read and understand the privacy policies of those third-party sites. Only the linking party is responsible for the presence of any links or partner websites, and Agan Health will not take any responsibility if the user gets a notification for a change in name or address of any of the information on the websites. We will not be responsible if you have voluntarily disclosed personal information through our website or a forum. 

Below 18 years

Our website and services may not be accessed by persons under the age of 18 years, unless with parental/guardian supervision. We do not encourage anyone under 18 to participate in any of our services independently.

Changes to Policies

We reserve the right to change or remove any part of the Privacy policy without prior notice. If changes are made to the Privacy Policy, we will take necessary measures to treat your personal information. We may display these changes on the website, but we are not obliged to send you or display these changes on the website or through an email. 

Make sure to check our policies regularly, and if you object to any of the terms on the website and no longer wish to continue with us, you can contact us immediately and remove your personal information if you have provided us any. 

Note: If you have registered using a third-party platform, you may have to contact the third-party platform or the employer to deactivate your account.

Jurisdiction 

The policies of Agan Health have been drafted following Indian Laws, and any disputes arising between the user and the organisation (Agan Health) concerning this policy, which also includes the interpretation of terms of this policy, shall be subject to the Jurisdiction courts in Trichy, India.
